Festival Saree
Almost each
region in
India has its individual test and way of draping the ‘saree’. Some daring ladies have been known to wear it with backless cholis or even without one!
‘Sarees’ come in a wide variety like –
exclusive saris,
exclusive silk sari,
wedding sarees,
festiva lsaree etc.There are
special Saris for happy occasions.
On the birth of a new baby or the wedding of a relative ladies wear brocade and festival
sarees are usually worn while in celebrations and festivals like the Diwali and the Durga Puja, women wear
exclusive sarees that are embroidered with gold.Brides of almost all classes wear light colored
Sari.
Women wear red or pink sari with
zari work on the eve of karwa chauth.
Fine silk sarees are for all festive occasions. On the festival of Teej, colorful
bandhej sarees are very much into the trend.
